Couriers see efficiencies, growth with new technology

Local couriers are seeing the benefits of technology developed by Nextel, which has teamed up with third-party software providers to improve communication and increase volume and efficiency while minimizing staff for mobile companies.

Blue Sky Couriers adopted Nextel's wireless Web package last year as a solution to the growing administrative work dispatchers were having to do as a result of two-way radios.
