At Blue Sky Couriers, we believe in going beyond just delivering packages. We aim to deliver hope, support, and positive change in our community through our Couriers with a Cause program. This initiative is designed to give back to the community by donating $2,500 each quarter to a charity chosen by one of our dedicated employees.
How It Works
Every quarter, all of our drivers are entered into a lottery system. The chosen driver then selects a Memphis-based nonprofit organization to receive a $2,500 donation from Blue Sky Couriers. This ensures that our contributions reflect the causes that our team is passionate about. Once the organization is selected, we arrange a check presentation at the nonprofit’s location, and the lucky driver is invited to attend and be part of the celebration.
This Quarter’s Chosen Charity: Mid-South Food Bank
We are thrilled to announce that this quarter’s recipient of our $2,500 donation is the Mid-South Food Bank, chosen by our driver Yolanda. The Mid-South Food Bank plays a crucial role in the fight against hunger in our community by distributing nutritious food to families in need. Yolanda’s choice reflects a heartfelt commitment to helping those who struggle with food insecurity, and we couldn’t be prouder to support such a worthy cause.
The Mid-South Food Bank serves an essential role in our community, providing meals to thousands of individuals and families who might otherwise go hungry. Our donation will help the organization continue its mission of reducing food insecurity by:
